Chris’s extensive legal background includes his role as Managing Attorney at Burns Legal Services in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where he has served since May 2007. He has successfully represented clients in high-stakes family law cases, providing compassionate support to families in conflict. As the Managing Director of the Parenting Support Center since 2012, Chris has implemented supervised visitation services to ensure the safety and well-being of children in complex custody situations.
His previous experience includes positions at Family Legal Services, Bouchard & Kleinman, and Shaines & McEachern, where he honed his skills in various areas of law, including corporate and business law, civil litigation, and criminal defense. Chris has also contributed to the legal community as an editor of the New Hampshire Bar Journal and through his role in a United Nations-funded UNESCO project in Moscow, where he taught English and developed curricula for native Russian speakers.
